It's Easier to Think

I am Mark Meneses, the Miami breed.
I hum music with my words, and my fingers follow soon after.
Sometimes I whisper; sometimes I become a news anchor.
Creation, appreciation, & apprehension.
Watch my footprint gain depth in the sand.

Everything I post on here is original unless otherwise noted or cited, including poetry, images, and videos. Opinions, however, are all mine mine mine.

When Art Moves

Alexa Meade, D.C. artist, and her striking stills. Well, they actually aren’t very still. Meade uses photography, art, and live performance to exemplify a visually shocking secret: things are not always what they appear to be. A great example of mixing mediums to encompass one final interpretation.

Click the link above for the artist’s website or here for the original blog entry.

Credit goes to Lauren Henschel, a friend of mine who really seems to know what she’s doing behind the camera lens (unlike everyone else who runs out and buys a camera for the sake of having a camera).

That’s Haley and me. We almost got hit by a train that daybut it’s cool, we got some sweet photos. Check out the rest of the set.
